Use of this website
This website is provided for general information about our clinical psychology practice and the services we offer. You may browse freely, but you must not misuse the site by knowingly introducing malicious code, attempting to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or using the content for any unlawful purpose.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website up to date and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may withdraw or amend the site without notice.
Therapy services
Our services are delivered by clinical psychologists via secure online video. By booking a session, you agree to the following:
- Not an emergency service. Our service is not suitable for crisis or emergency situations. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, please contact your GP, call 999, or reach out to the Samaritans on 116 123.
- Session length. Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes.
- Session fee. Sessions are charged at £125 each, payable in advance or as otherwise agreed.
- Cancellation policy. We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session rate.
- Your responsibilities. You are responsible for ensuring you have a private, quiet space and a reliable internet connection for your session. You agree to provide accurate information about your circumstances to support your treatment.
Professional standards
All psychologists working with The Online Psychologists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We are committed to evidence-based practice and adhere to the ethical and professional standards set by the HCPC.
If you wish to verify a psychologist’s registration, you can do so via the HCPC register.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos and design, is owned by or licensed to The Online Psychologists and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or use any content from this site without our prior written permission.
Limitation of liability
The information provided on this website is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as, and should not be relied upon as, a substitute for professional psychological advice, diagnosis or treatment.
